Figures

  • Upload each figure as a separate file
  • Insert figure captions in main text after first paragraph where referenced
  • Number figures sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.)
  • Multi-panel figures must be combined into a single file
  • Max file size: 10 MB per figure
  • Accepted formats: PDF, TIFF, JPEG, PNG
  • Resolution: 300 dpi at final size
  • Titles: max 15 words
  • Legends: max 300 words in manuscript text

Tables

  • Place table immediately after first citation paragraph
  • Use sequential Arabic numbers (Table 1, Table 2, etc.)
  • Short tables can remain in text
  • Longer tables: move to end of document with reference marker
  • Excessively large tables: upload as separate .XLS file
  • Title: max 15 words
  • Legend: max 300 words
  • Avoid color and shading in tables
  • Use bold, symbols, or superscripts for emphasis

Note: For previously published figures or tables, authors must obtain and acknowledge reproduction permission in the legend, citing the original source in references.
